Barking mad, lonely and creatively frustrated, the six heads wandered the globe without purpose, until one day in 2009 when they met, liked each other, and realised that for their whole lives they had each carried a ring with a letter inscribed on the surface. When combined, the six rings spelt out the word 'Cannonball', which is Latin for 'improvised comedy'. Their destiny was now clear. They are:

Chris Werren

'Chrus' is New Zealand's foremost South London based improviser.
He likes green things, sweet foods and slightly pretentious music
(although he is getting a bit too old for that now).
He dislikes vacuum cleaners (only if he's not using them),
cellophane and damp shoes. Chris currently has a beard.

Dave Waller

Dave is like a cerebral Houdini - able to think himself out of any situation.
Everything from budding romance to glittering careers have
been scuppered by the fact his brain simply won't leave him alone.
But as part of Cannonball our Cornish ruminator gets to go the other way:
non-thinking his way into gloriously weird stuff.
All while flying by the seat of other people's pants. Ace.

Rhiannon Vivian

Rhiannon is an alumna from the Progressive School Of Unicorns.
A love of country music means she has renamed her
Folk-al-cords accordingly. Her dream is to play a grotesque
Baldrick-like character peppered in mildew and sores.
In an ideal world she'd still be dangling Sindys out the window
and collecting Maltesers until they go grey. Her strengths are:
elbow cartwheels, climbing over rainbows and lack of concentration.
She snacks on the surreal.

Andrew Gentilli

When he isn't improvising, Andrew makes films and draws things.
He gains his power from the sun, yet inexplicably lives in North
London - a conundrum he still hasn't resolved. His indeterminate
ethnicity makes him a confusing target for racists, which he secretly
enjoys.

Clare O'Callaghan

Clare secretly dreams of an egalitarian utopia.
She has made three citizen's arrests, although two were
misunderstandings. She is sincere, but also very rebellious.
Clare would make an excellent spy. She likes long walks in large parks
and hopes you do too. She finds cold waterbeds particularly challenging.

Dylan Buckle

He improvises with his mind, body and guitar.
He loves Bleak Expectations and hates keeping secrets.
He is also known as Lord Dylbag Of Finchley On The Road.
His pin number is 1324.

Blowduck

Blowduck is an imaginary friend that we all share. Unfortunately, we have
imagined him so intensely that he has become real and now haunts
our website.

Blowduck won't leave us alone. He has said that if we do not print
his letter he will beat up five newts every morning until his
demands are met, so please bear with us...
